# Delete your FabiRide account & data

You can permanently delete your FabiRide account and associated data at any time. This page explains how, and exactly what is deleted and what is kept.

## Option 1 — in the app (fastest)

1. Open the FabiRide app.
2. Go to **Settings → My account → Delete account**.
3. Confirm. Your account is deleted immediately and you are signed out on all devices.

## Option 2 — by request (no app needed)

If you can't use the app, email **`info@fabiride.com`** from the address on your account with the subject **"Delete my account"**. We verify ownership and complete the deletion within **30 days** (usually much sooner).

## What gets deleted

- Your profile: name, email, phone, password / Apple sign-in link.
- Your ride history, GPS trails, and telemetry.
- Your emergency contacts.
- Your device pairings and shared-access grants (your Displays are released back to unregistered state).
- Your active sessions (you are signed out everywhere).

## What we must keep, and why

To comply with Lithuanian accounting law we retain **invoice and sales-chain records for 10 years**. These are **anonymised** — your name and email are removed and replaced with a one-way hash — so they can no longer identify you, but a tax audit can still reconcile a transaction. ## Before you delete

- **Export your data first** if you want a copy: in-app, **Settings → My account → Export my data** (JSON).
- Deletion is **permanent** and cannot be undone.
